Today's Election Matters

FINRA will conduct its annual meeting of firms on Tuesday, August 22, 2017, at 10 a.m. Eastern Time in the FINRA Visitors Center, 1735 K Street, NW, in Washington, D.C. The purpose of the meeting is to elect individuals to fill one small firm and one large firm seat on the FINRA Board of Governors (FINRA Board).

Today is the last day to cast your vote for a small firm representative on the FINRA Board of Governors. Your vote is important because whoever fills that seat will have an impact one way or another on our quality of life.

The candidate that wins, should be poised, articulate, and respected. Mark Cresap is exactly that.

Mark along with Joe Romano and Bob Muh, have made improvements that unfortunately I am not able to discuss. What I can tell you is that these men are unsung heroes. They put in countless hours away from their families and businesses to better the environment for small firms and they do it selflessly. No public credit is given and only a select few ever know.

While many feel a time for change is upon us, I strongly believe these are the right people to make that happen. Please take the time to spread this to any firms you know with less than 150 Registered Representatives and cast your vote for Mark Cresap today.
